Also, worthy of note is the participation on last Tuesday’s outing. It was 89% for those that have registered for WWLL 2023. Impressive numbers.
I hope all enjoyed the day, despite the fallout from the wildfires in Ontario.

The team assignments for the 2023 season have been set. Please review the attached .pdf file. Teams were drawn based on current handicap and in consideration of scores from the last couple weeks.
As a reminder, teams will collect points (based on their average weekly net score) as follows:
1st place: 4 points
2nd place: 3 points
3rd place: 2 points
4th place: 1 point
Teams must field at least 7 golfers (33% of the team’s roster) to acquire points in a given week.
We will crown a 1st half, 2nd half, and season-long champion.
Nothing special is required on your end for team tracking – just continue to report your scores on a weekly basis (and remember — first name, last name, and print clearly!!).

Thank you for your patience — Here are your results for the first week of league play. Scores are also posted on the Men’s League Portal. Reminder to winners: Make sure to claim your prize from the pro shop.
For those that are new this year, all registrants are assigned a team based on historical handicaps from 2022. If you are new to the league, we will be assigning one to you based on your performance as the season progresses.
Participants are split into 4 teams. Weekly prizes are awarded to individuals with the lowest net score in each team.
Additional weekly challenges are also awarded prizes. This week it was closest to the pin on hole #3 and hole #9.
Weekly prizes can be picked up at the Club at your convenience.
For those that are interested in the specific numbers the attached pdf documents each player, their Gross and Net score, as well as the team performance. If you have any questions about the process feel free to email Andy at leagues@golfwildwinds.ca!

Good afternoon! The 2023 season starts in just two days. Please find some important information below.

Our Members Match Play is being organized by George Lopers this season. This event is open to all members and is a great way to enjoy a bit of a competitive atmosphere at the club. Thank you to George for looking after this event and good luck to all competitors!
Please sign up in the Pro Shop if you are interested in competing. The cost is $10 per person for singles and $20 per team for doubles. Payments need to be made via etransfer or directly to George no later than June 10th. Winner will get 70% of entry fees and runner-up will get 30%. Play will start Sunday, June 18th . You will need to arrange your own games. Space will be limited to 32 Singles and 32 Doubles Teams. This is a single elimination event.
