Good evening members,

As you may have seen in the clubhouse, our official last day of play will be Sunday November 3. After a spectacular year, we want to prioritize the course and provide Trever with the much needed time to prepare for winter. This will allow the course to be in optimal shape come spring 2025. 

We will have staff present on the following days for you to renew your memberships during November to take advantage of the early bird pricing:

Saturday November 16 11:00 until 2:00
Saturday November 23 11:00 until 2:00
Friday November 29 1:00 until 5:00

Payments can be made over the phone and receipts can be emailed. Should you need any further assistance, emails can be sent to accountspayable@golfwildwinds.ca

The Competition Committee has been hard at work creating some new documentation that the club will begin to use to help govern play. Thank you to the committee members as this will be very helpful moving forward.

2024 Club Championships

2024 Club Championship Information

Hello members,

Now that we are into July, Club Championship Weekend is just around the corner!  Those of you that have participated in previous years know that it is a great 2-day event with a bit more of a competitive feel.

Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th will see tee times beginning at 7:00am and running until all registrants have gone out (depending on how many register).

The event will be a flighted, 2-day stroke play tournament.  Winners will be determined by a total score over the 2 days.  Last year’s flights were as follows:

Men’s Championship Flight (Black Tee’s)
Men’s “A” Flight (Blue Tee’s)
Men’s “B” Flight (Blue Tee’s)
Men’s “C” Flight (Blue Tee’s)
Men’s “D” Flight (Blue Tee’s)
Women’s Championship Flight (Red Tee’s)
Men’s Senior Championship Flight (White Tee’s)
Men’s Senior “A” Flight (White Tee’s)
Men’s Senior “B” Flight (White Tee’s)
Men’s Super Senior Championship Flight (White Tee’s)

Flights will be determined by your Golf Canada handicaps, which will be required, except for the Championship Flights.  If you do not have a registered Golf Canada handicap, and want to participate, contact the Pro Shop to get set up.  

The Championship Flights are open flights and can be participated in by anyone.

Senior flights will be based on age.  We will have a Senior Flight (age 55-64) and a Super Senior Flight (age 65 and over).

Registration sheets are in the Proshop.  The registration deadline will be Sunday, July 21st at 6:00pm with no exceptions!

Wildwinds Competition Committee

Hello, Wildwinds Members – 

Over the history of the club, Wildwinds members have remained a cornerstone of its culture and success. Wildwinds is proud to maintain a variety of competitive events for its membership base throughout the golf season, including the Club Championships and Singles/Doubles Match Play competitions. The goal of Wildwinds Management is to maintain an equitable and transparent playing experience for all Wildwinds members, including (and especially) during club-sanctioned competitive events.

It is in this spirit that Wildwinds has appointed a formal Competition Committee. The Committee’s mission is to provide governance over Wildwinds-sanctioned events. Initially, this includes the oversight of rules and handicapping for members-only events (like those mentioned above). Over time, the Committee may oversee additional components of Wildwinds’ competitive offerings, such as the Men’s and Womens’ leagues.

As the Committee continues to solidify its operating procedures, we welcome the participation of Wildwinds members by providing any feedback or ideas you may have. Opportunities to serve on the Competition Committee will also be made available to Wildwinds Members over time. Additional information about the Committee will be communicated as it becomes available.

2024 Membership Season

Opening day is just around the corner! 

We will be opening for the season on Monday, April 22nd at 8:00am!  At this time, we predict that power carts will be available for opening day. Tee time bookings will be available for members only starting this evening just after midnight and will maintain 10-day advanced member booking access for the season. Public players will not have the ability to book until Wednesday, April 17th. If you used the online booking system last season, everything has remained the same except for the booking access password which is now “2024wildwinds”.

  • To book your tee times, visit our website at golfwildwinds.ca
  • Go to the “Golf” drop down menu
  • Select “Memberships>Members Portal”
  • Enter Password “2024wildwinds”
  • Click “Book Member Tee Time” Button
  • Click on the calendar in the top right corner or the date at the top
  • Select the date you want to book
  • Select the time you want to book
  • Click on “Book Now”
  • Select the number of golfers for your booking by clicking on numbers 1-4
  • Click on “Proceed to Checkout”
  • In the “Sign Up” fill out all information required
  • Click “Sign Up”
  • On the Checkout Screen read “Tee Times Terms and Conditions”
  • Click the box beside “I agree to Terms and Conditions”
  • Click on “Complete your Purchase”
  • Your Tee time will now be booked
  • You will receive a confirmation email

Please do not share the password to our member portal with anyone who is not a Wildwinds member as this is your access to 10-day advanced booking and we want to make sure we protect that member only access.

2023 Members Match Play – FINAL RESULTS

Congratulations to Bill DeBoer for taking the singles title, and to the team of Brendan Woods and Kyle Morrison for winning the doubles!
